Meet Lara

Lara wore red, sequined Mary Janes to her first pee wee soccer practice . . .

it wasn’t long after that she traded in her (pink) soccer ball for voice lessons and acting classes. SCORE!

Lara’s extensive performance training took her from the Chicago area, to Interlochen Arts Academy, to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (where she majored in musical theater with a specialty in devising), to regional stages.

Her vocal range and stylings, in-depth character analysis, and strong work ethic contribute to her versatility as a performer who is equally convincing as an ingenue (Johanna, Sweeney Todd), an underdog misfit (Gertrude McFuzz, Seussical the Musical), a rock-solid, supporting gargoyle (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), or a tractable prostitute (Paquette, Candide)

Off-stage Lara is an unapologetic Swiftie, snowmobiler, and “curb-side pick-up” shopper who can throw down a mean charcuterie board at the drop of a hat.

What Others Say About Lara . . .

Lara does not draw attention to herself <sic>, she simply plunges into the work, without any of the self-consciousness that sometimes hampers other young actors.

— David Montee, Instructor of Theater, Interlochen Arts Academy

Lara is a force of nature. She is disciplined, hungry, a team player, smart, funny, and playful. I truly feel like I am working with a professional collaborator with Lara, not a student.”

— Doug Lockwood, Associate Professor of Theater, Boston Conservatory at Berklee
